The Centre for Contemporary Art, Ujazdowski Castle, Gallery 2 shows the second edition of its permanent collection. The collection is the result of four years of work at the Centre for Contemporary Art. It cointains pieces by artists who represent various attitudes.
The artists whose works make up Collection II have all had an exhibition in the Centre. Some of these exhibitions are shown on this page. However they are not linked in any specific collective idea or artistic program. Instead, they represent a wide range of attitudes and views which are characteristic of the actual state of art. But these are most certainly highly individual attitudes and views. In this aspect they well define the state of art and artistic consciousness of the past thirty years or so.
